She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd L. High; her parents, Robert O. Mayes and Maude Estelle Keeter Mayes; her children, Thomas Wayne High, Mary Estelle High and Janice Ann High; her granddaughter Patricia High Temple; and her siblings, Robert, Richard, James, Bessie, Varnell, Bernice and Deloris.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Aaron High and Joyce High Jordan (Scott); and her grandchildren, Thomas W. High Jr., Alex Ansley, Kris Ansley, Johnny Proctor, Melissa Wade, Joseph A. High II, Jennie High Foster, Janice Nichole Ayscue, Lisa Marie Bennett and Wesley Scott Jordan. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
