He is survived by: his sons, Donnell Hines, Jr. (Fontella) of Gaston, NC, Antony Hines (Samantha) of Wilmington, NC and Bradford Hines (Shenita) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Debra Dozier of Kannapolis, NC, William (Bill), Mary Rawles (Marvin) of Garysburg, NC and Walter Hines (Lisa) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and his cousin Ellen Smith of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
