It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Francis Kruk of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Donald Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Fedak and Frank Stanley Kruk; and his sister Sharon Lane. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kruk; his nieces, Stephanie Brooks (Hunter) and Kimberly Britton (Myles); his brother-in-law Michael Lane; his stepchildren, Pamela Wells (Michael), Shelley Tripp (Jacob) and Shawn Gillikin (Britany); and his pet Sunny.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
