She was predeceased by: her significant other Harry Lee Edwards; her parents, Doris Carter (Gray) and Charles Woodson Carter; and her brothers, Charles "Butch" Carter and Rusty Lee Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Edward Davis II (Wendy Davis), Christopher Lee Davis, Gregory Edwards (Lisa Edwards), Shannon (Edwards) and Moody (Nelson Moody); her great grandchildren, Liam, Mila, Easton, Brantley, Evalyn, Ensley, Haven, Harper, Piper, Donald, Sarah and Cameron; and her siblings, Trudy Currin, Belinda Carter, Denise Carter and Dennis Carter.
