He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin S. Fowler and Ora Glasgow Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Thelma; his siblings, Elizabeth Gardner, Marvin S. Fowler and John A. Fowler; his granddaughter Crystal Fowler; his stepson Larry Smith; his sons, David C. Fowler, Jr. and Joe A. Fowler; his stepson Bennie Smith; and his grandchildren, Bruce Smith, Madison Fowler and Matthew Fowler.
