He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Stegall and Mildred King. He is survived by: his sisters, June Damron (Robin) of Newport News, Janet Clay of Norfolk Virginia and Vickie King of Ocean Isle.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
