He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Cain Turner and James Edward Turner; his wife Sandra Johnson; his daughter Sandra Turner; his uncles, Robert Cain, Lewis Cain and Archie Powell; his children, Clarkie Turner, Jr. (Sherrie), Cameron Turner (Sonyia) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Kamacia Ponton of Seaboard, NC and Jennifer Green of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Cameron Turner, Noremac Turner, Kennedi Turner of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Jennaisha Grate, Diaminic Grate, Anaiyha Grate, Demontae Green of Richmond, VA and Caleb Turner of Rocky Mount, NC; his aunt Catherine Collins of Washington, DC; and his sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Johnson and Robin Powell.
Due to COVID-19, H. D. Pope Funeral Home requires that all attendees to any service or visitation wear a face covering and practice social distance at all times.
