He is survived by: his granddaughter Stephanie Nicole Sledge; his brother Earl Holt; his children, Kimberly Thacker (John), Lee Sledge (Debra) and Angie Trinneer (Michael); his grandchildren, Chris Thacker (Ashley), Steven Thacker (Katelin), Anthony Thacker (Monica), Zachary Clay, Brianna Clay and Bionca Van Dyke; and his great grandchildren, Luke Thacker, Jacob Thacker, Hunter Thacker, Adrianna Thacker, Harper Thacker, Kenzleigh Thacker, Kennedy Thacker and Ryker Thacker. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
