She is survived by: her children, Mark Futrell of Hertford and Linda Spence (Don) of Elizabeth City; her granddaughters, Mandy Whitehurst (Chris) of Camden, Lauren Williams of Wilmington, Gabrielle of Elizabeth City and Alethia Spence of Elizabeth City; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Alex, Grace and Hadley.
