He was predeceased by: his mother Teresa Paige Carter; his grandparents, Wilburt Carter Sr., Lillian Carter, JW Norwood and Irene Norwood; and his stepgrandson Joseph Fahey.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Reeves; his father Charles Wardell Norwood Sr. (Cheryl); his daughter Haillie Norwood; his stepchildren, Kristen Walters, Candace Reeves and Brandon Reeves; his granddaughters, Estelle and Sophia Vazquz; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Mayton, Kaitlyn Mayton, Michael Fahey, Natalie Fahey, Reagan Harris and Emma Reeves; his siblings, Joseph Brian Norwood and Lisa Marie Norwood; his stepsiblings, Kevin Ferguson and Crystal McKeel; and his aunt Wanda Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedarwood Cemetery (1100 W 4th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
