He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Battle Parrish and Helen Harrison Parrish; his wife Patricia G. Parrish; and his daughter Ginny P. Finch. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie P. Morris (Michael) of Roanoke Rapids and Lisa P. Dickens (Edward) of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren, Joseph Allen Lambert, III of Edison, NJ, Casey Dickens Myrick (Perry) of Littleton, Garrett Michael Morris (Taylor) of Roanoke Rapids, Charles Grant Morris of Roanoke Rapids, Lizbeth Ann Dickens of Roanoke Rapids and Blayden Earl Finch of Roanoke Rapids; his great grandchild Perry Lee Myrick, IV of Littleton; his brother Sherman Parrish (Joan) of Boiling Springs, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Vinson (Bill) of Nashville, NC, Darlene Taylor (Darrell) of Henrico, NC and Randy Griffin (Tammy) of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
