He was predeceased by: his parents, James Spragins and Annie Spragins; and his siblings, Elmo, James, Melvin, Eugene, Bernard, Clyde, Charlotte and Mable.
He is survived by: his sister Annie Baird Wood (Billy); his nephew Ron Baird (Trudy); his nieces, Donna Sandeford (Keith), Cheryl Carlisle (Kim) and Judy Shaw (Jason); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justin, Kelly, Matthew, Amy, Phillip, Katie, Brandon, Kristie and Taylor. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Testament Christian Church.
