He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnette Bryan Morgan, Sr. and Bertha Woodruff; his wife Shirley Hawkins Morgan; and his son Mark Anthony Morgan. He is survived by: his son Gary Bryan Morgan (Yvonne Morgan); his daughter-in-law Carol West (Kent); his brother George Morgan (Betty Ruth); his son Mike Morgan (Jerri); his sister-in-law Faye Pepper (David); his nephew Jeffrey (Angie); his niece April (Amber); his grandchildren, Megan Perry Ogburn (Andrew), Mitchell Anthony Morgan (Karina) and Meleah Bryan Morgan (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Weston, Hutton, Aniston and Benton; and his close friends, Earl, Linda Allen, Robert Williams, Junior, Shirley Robertson and Ruby Sharber.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hawkins Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery (6955 NC-48, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
