We bid farewell to Betty Qualls (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 11, 2025 at the age of 93. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Culous Matthews and Jewel Freeland Matthews; her brother Charles Matthews; her daughter Debbie Etheridge; her granddaughter Jill Etheridge; and her husband Quinton Q. Qualls, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Quinton Q. Qualls, Jr. (Sheree), Jeff Qualls (Laura) and Kimberly Morrow (Chance); her son-in-law Richard Etheridge; her grandchildren, Nick Etheridge, Noah Etheridge (Erin), Adam Etheridge, Quint Q. Qualls III, Caroline Long (Sam), Zachary Qualls, Jett Morrow, Coral Morrow and Zane Morrow; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Etheridge, Kate Etheridge, Ethan Etheridge, Oliver Etheridge and Harry Etheridge.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wrenn Funeral Home (1015 W 5th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church (36079 NC-561, Hollister, NC 27844).
