He is survived by: his daughter Kiara Carter; his grandchildren, Takyrah, Dekari of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Derek of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his son Anthony Mills of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his siblings, Shelia Brinkley (David) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Chauncey Carter of Richmond, VA, Stacarlo Carter of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Kelvin Carter of Richmond, VA; his close friend Reggie Edwards; and his friend Betty Carter of Gaston, NC. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
