It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Odom Smith of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Carlton Tripp; and her brother Billy Gene Bolton. She is survived by: her parents, Ruby Odom Bolton and William Douglas Bolton; her husband Alvin Smith; her son Benjamin Lee Tripp (Jessica); her brothers, William "Tommy" Bolton, Danny Ray Bolton (Terry) and James Thomas Bolton (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Callie Tripp and Kaylee Tripp.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hockaday Funeral and Cremation Service (507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
