She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Fred Harvey Sledge and Nannie Bettie Sledge; her former husbands, Albert Tillery and Herbert Jeffery West; and her children, Dr. Beverly Williams (Walter) of Fayetteville, NC and Willie Tillery (Bettie).
She is survived by: her husband George Stanley; her children, Dr. Julia Weaver (Charlie) of Ayden, NC and Herbert West; and her sisters-in-law, Lanie Perry of Rocky Mount, NC and Helen Barner of Roanoke Rapids, N. C.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
