With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Angela Hale of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Angela left this world on March 24, 2025 at the age of 50, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Nicholas Oliver Gwaltney, IV; her stepfather Frankie Junior Fain, Jr.; and her brother Ronald Craig Burnette. She is survived by: her mother Mary Tart Fain; her husband Howard Hale, III of Roanoke Rapids; her children, Nick Hale (Katie) of Littleton, Lake Gaston, Tyler Hale (Anna) of Roanoke Rapids and Kylie Burnette; her grandson Carlyle Hale; her sisters, Julie Gwaltney of Skippers, VA and Lisa Norris of Sunbury, NC; and her parents-in-law, Howard Hale, Jr. and Marilyn Hale. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Askew Funeral and Cremation Services (731 Roanoke Ave, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good News Baptist Church (714 NC-125, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870).
