With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Wayne Haskins (Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ovid James Haskins and Lila Keeter Haskins; and his siblings, Bill Haskins and Sallie Davis. He is survived by: his significant other Nell Ferrell Haskins; his daughters, Julie Haskins Hough (Eric), Natalie Haskins English, Shantea Haskins Connell (Rodney), Wendy Young Lovekamp and Cindy Young Wollett (Michael); his grandchildren, Dustin Wollett (Grace), Bert Hines, Emery Lovekamp, Zackery Connell, Foster Lovekamp, Ellie Wollett, Sydney Connell and Rick English; his great grandchild Henry Wollett; and his siblings, Brenda Jarman Warren, Rochella Hux, Connie Spence, Donald Ray Haskins and Gene Haskins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and close friends.
