She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Harrison Gregory and Boyd Thorne Gregory; her husband Rex Hampton Carter; her son Fletcher Carter; and her brothers, Fletcher, Sam and Thorne Gregory.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Missy Odom (Ken), Kenneth Haggerty of Memphis, TN, Michael Haggerty of Davis, CA, Marshall Carter of Pittsburgh, PA and Ella Carter of Chapel Hill, NC; and her great grandchildren, Kenny Odom, Carter Odom, Emma Odom and Susanna Odom.
