He is survived by: his wife Judy F. Stallings; his children, Tara S. Waters (Joe) of Hope Mills, Natalie S. Godwin (Bruno) of Lake Waccamaw and Shelley S. Alercia (Patrick) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Sydney "Gabby" Waters, Aaron Waters, Karli Godwin and Aleigh Godwin; his nephew Mike Cole (Ann); and his great-nephew Chris Cole.
