He is survived by: his wife Alethia W. Shaw; his children, Sheryl Leatherberry (Thomas) of Greensboro, NC and Eddie Raymond Shaw, Jr. (Ursula) of Hope Mills, NC; and his siblings, Niecie Parham of Wilmington, NC and Charles Harry Shaw (Bertha) of Riegelwood, NC. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
