With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Montrose Allison of Ridgeway, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lee Gibson and Ruby Allison Gibson of Virginia; and her sisters, Alma Gibson, Lisa Gibson and Etta Bell Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Stanback of Kannapolis, Calvin Gibson of Kannapolis, Katherine Stanback of Concord and April Brown (Javin) of Ft. Irvine, CA; her siblings, Frances Everette (Milton) of Kannapolis, Herman Gibson of Salisbury, Herbert Gibson of Kannapolis and Eric Gibson of Charlotte; and her half-siblings, Howard Mack of Newport News, VA and Camellia Watson of Kannapolis. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
