He is survived by: his wife Shelby Eubanks Cox; his children, Jerry (Shelia) of Holly Ridge, Ben (Lu) of Burgaw, Darlene Futral (Troy) and Lisa Barbee (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jeremy Cox, Nicole Helman, Amanda Cox, Isaiah Barbee, Sara Futral, Tara Edwards, Kasey Barbee, Joshua Futral and Matthew Weston; and his brother Earl Cox of Pink Hill.
