It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Mattes (Richlands, North Carolina), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Jr and Pamela Gentry Bottoms Jr.; her husband Bill Mattes of Richlands, NC; her children, Tyler Doustou of Richmond, VA, Jake Mattes of Richlands, NC, Nichole Mattes of Charlotte, NC and Autumn Rayne Mattes of Richlands, NC; her brother Kenneth Bottoms of Richmond, VA; and her grandson William Nash.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to , 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105-2479, 901-495-3300 in Sharon's name.
