It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Beam in Richlands, North Carolina, born in Bennettsville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Rhem. She is survived by: her mother Alma Lytch Taylor of Richlands; her husband Miles Beam Jr.; her children, Frances Sizemore of Shelby, Mimi Harris (Lee) of Wilmington and Miles Beam III (Audrey) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Heather Black (Shannon) of Shelby, Lynn Blocher (Jesse) of Nashville, TN, Aaron Sizemore (Kimberly) of Dahlonega, GA, Lani Short of Pawleys Island, SC, Kent Harris of Wilmington, NC, Diana Harris, Sharon Harris of Raleigh, NC, Brian Beam of Raleigh, NC and Cassie Beam of Huntersville, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Emma Black, William, Claire, Miles, Sam Blocher, Kate, Joel, Nora Sizemore, Stella, Josie, Grady Short, JennaRose and Willow Harris.
