She was predeceased by: her husband Oneil Gurganus. She is survived by: her children, Denise Silveus (Jeffrey), Jacquelyn Collins of Richlands, Michelle Marshburn (Matthew) of Richlands and Jody Gurganus (Selina) of Beulaville; her siblings, Henry Metts (Janice), Roy Metts (Maryanne) and Linda Davis (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Bryan Silveus (Jessica), Brittany Lanier (David), Caytlyn Collins, Ciara Collins, Devan Riley (Bailey) and Case Marshburn (Lacey); and her great grandchildren, Logan Lanier, Elias Lanier and Addison Riley.
