He was predeceased by: his friend Edna M. Swinson; and his son-in-law Wayne Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Jesse Hardy (Dawn), Larry, Oliva and Violet Matthews; and also Barbara Vieau. He is also survived by grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
