She was predeceased by : her mother Janice Provost Chandler; and her daughter Jennifer Marshburn. She is survived by : her father Richland Chandler; her husband James Marshburn; her son Jeremy Oaks of Tennessee; her stepson Jamie Marshburn of Stuart, VA; her granddaughter Adrianna; and her siblings, Karen Jarman of Ohio and Zack Chandler of Richlands. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the City Harvest Church (111 Kinston Hwy, Richlands, NC 28574).
