She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Kennedy and Ruth Wilkins Kennedy. She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Casey (Lee) and Gail Moretz (David); her grandchildren, Matt Casey (Ashley), Alexa Dixon, Hunter Casey (Heather) and Jillian Ford (Chris); her stepgranddaughters, Erin Garner (Ben), Heather Baldwin (Rusty) and Lauren Moretz; her brother Ward Kennedy; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Micah, Ezra, Daphne, Aidan and Will.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Richlands (100 Rand St, Richlands, NC 28574). Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504). A reception was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Richlands (100 Rand St, Richlands, NC 28574).
