He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Earl Horne and Bertie Humphrey Horne; his daughter Tammy Horne; and his siblings, Iris Pittman, Eleanor Bishop, Alvis Horne and William Horne.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Pittman Horne; his daughter Jamie S. Bright (Elvin) of Richlands; his grandchildren, Crystal Gray (Jason), Jeremy Bright and Kove Horne (Gina); his great grandchildren, Kate Jarman, Karly Jarman, Aidan Bright, Ellie Bright, Meredith Gray and Mason Gray; and his siblings, Alton Horne (Peggy) of Richlands, Ranzer Horne (Ann) of Richlands, Charles Horne (Phyllis) of Richlands and Jimmy Horne (Sheryl) of Richlands.
