He was predeceased by: his wife Helen James Horne; his siblings, Martha Horne Rivenbark, Elma Horne Batts, Myrtle Horne Marapese, Adel Horne Henderson and Norman Horne; and his cousin Neil Horne.
He is survived by: his children, Janice Horne Barbee of Jacksonville, NC and Steven Horne (Roseanna) of Wilmington, NC; his granddaughters, Melissa Wright (Wes) of Wilmington and Caroline Horne of Chapel Hill, NC; and his great grandchildren, Warren and Evan Wright of Wilmington. He is also survived by his family and the many friends.
