It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Garland Williams of Richlands, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Williams and Mary Swinson Williams; his siblings, Annie Lee Hines, Robert Williams, Mary Lou Parker and Rashie Williams; and his sister-in-law Peggy Williford Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kennedy Williams; his daughters, Pam Lanier of Richlands and Tammy W. Ellis of Richlands; his grandchildren, Justin Boling, Dennah Hunt, Jessie Thomas, Brandy Turner, Ryan Stokes, Nicholas Heim, Andrea Heim and Remington Heim; and his sisters, Maggie King of Holly Ridge, Lula Parker of Folkstone and Kathleen McElmurray of Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, Garland wished that contributions be made in his name to a charity of one's choice.
