He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hudson and Elma Hudson; his sisters, Norma Jane Jones and Evelyn Hudson Lewis; his niece Crystal Elaine Darlington; and his nephews, Ronald Dean Jones and Jerry Allen Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alvis L. Hudson (Dinna) of New Bern and Elaine Darlington (John) of Jacksonville; and his nieces and nephews, Regina Lee, Cindy Smith, Rhonda Jenkins, Cynthia Atkinson, Duke Darlington, Gerald Thomas, Brian Thomas and Eddie Ray Jones. He is also survived by 11 great-nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nieces and 3 great-great nephews.
