He is survived by: his wife Sherry Whaley Hoffman of Richlands; his children, Evan Montgomery of Florida, Jared Montgomery of Florida, Brittany Burks (Charlie) of South Carolina, Jenna Mercer (Zach) of Beulaville and Casey Fields (Brian) of Richlands; his mother Barbara Silance of Ohio; and his siblings, Lori Davis of Ohio, Thomas Silance of Ohio and Charlie Silance of Indiana. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
