He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Crile and Harry Chase. He is survived by: his wife Mary Chase; his daughters, Denise Clarke (Josh) of Richlands and Amber Owen (Greg) of Richlands; his grandchildren, Brittany Bell (Mike), Rebecca Pierce (Dustin), Caitlin Bagby (Sean), Phillip Murray and Joshua Clarke; his great grandchildren, Michael Bell Jr., Riley Bell, Hunter Bell, Andrew Bell and Kaylee Pierce; and his sister Peggy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Richlands Wednesday (137 Ervintown Rd, Richlands, NC 28574). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Richlands Thursday (137 Ervintown Rd, Richlands, NC 28574). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's in memory of Art.
