He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Barbee and Minnie Luncida Smith Barbee; his wife Carrie Jeanette Deese Barbee; and his brother Lewis Barbee. He is survived by: his son Darnell Barbee of Richfield; and his sister Mildred Vanhoy (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
