He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearson Ellis Almond and Betty Hatley Almond. He is survived by: his wife June Cranford Almond; his children, Kevin Almond (Stacy) of Richfield and Tara Barajas (Ivan) of Matthews; his grandchildren, Zachary Almond, Seth Almond and Gaby Barajas; and his siblings, Marilyn Tucker of Millingport, Paula Almond of Millingport and Mark Almond of Concord.
A private memorial service will be held by his family due to Covid-19 restrictions.
