He is survived by: his wife Brenda Starnes Cromer; his children, Roy Michael Cromer (Sherri) of Pinnacle, NC and Nikki Cromer Koontz (Darren) of Richfield; his grandchildren, Jordan Keith Koontz and Noah Kiser (Sarah); and his sister Bonnie Beaver (Doug). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
