He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gurley and Agnes Gurley (Bost); and his siblings, James, Kenneth, Donald Gurley and Colleen Woodward.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Lorene Gurley; his children, Jill Loflin (Bob) of New London, NC and Jason Gurley (Kristi) of Richfield, NC; his stepdaughter Debbie Dumont (Frank) of Salisbury, NC; his grandchildren, Garrett Loflin (Jesi), Holly Comer (Jacob), Jenny Bowers (Drake), Leah Gurley and Jase Gurley; his great grandchildren, Memphis, Beau Comer and Sadie Loflin; and his sister Doris Hess (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of monetary memorials please consider donating blood to a local blood bank. If not for someone else donating, we would not have been able to spend precious time with Paul as long as we did.
