She was predeceased by: her husband Lester F. Galloway; and her parents, Elva Mae Payne McSwain and Lloyd McSwain. She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Brenda), Darrell (Darlene) and Deanette (Rick); and her grandchildren, Kenny (Annie), Chris (Miranda), Michelle (Jamie), Steven, Shawn (Kayla), Daniel, Scott (Brandy) and Bethany (Todd). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mavis was blessed with a very loving family and caregivers to surround her during her many years of battling the disease of Alzheimer's.
