She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Frances Sides Thompson; and her stepparents, Ray Charles Thompson and Sue Morton. She is survived by: her father Alvie Ray Morton of Louisiana; her sons, Sidney Daniel Sells Jr. (April) of Norwood and Jeffery Todd Hartsell (Tessa) of Oakboro; her siblings, Iris "Ann" Blue, Tammy Sides (Mitch) and Lynn Morton; her grandchildren, Kallie Sells (Ethan), Mckenzie Kiker, Jordyn Sells, Emerie Hartsell and Dax Hartsell; her great grandchild Daniel Eudy; and her close friend Roda Coley.
