She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Barbee and Dora Lee Crisco Barbee; her son Carl Jeffrey Huneycutt; and her brother Roy Lee Barbee. She is survived by: her husband Carl Huneycutt; her children, Karen Myers (Scotty) and Kenneth Huneycutt; her grandsons, Joshua Myers and Brandon Myers; her sister Maryleen Shankle (V. L.); and her nephew David Shankle.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
