With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lane Eugene Vanhoy of Richfield, North Carolina, who passed away on February 8, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Vanhoy and Lillie Huneycutt Vanhoy; his former wife Betty H. Vanhoy; and his brother Tom Vanhoy. He is survived by: his wife Annie Ruth Vanhoy; his children, Ivey Sue Isenhour (Howard) of Richfield, Richie Vanhoy of Richfield, Teresa Speights (Don) of Richfield and Kelly Vanhoy of Richfield; his siblings, Jean Stroupe of Richfield, Sherrill Vanhoy (Jane), Jerry Vanhoy (Mildred), Don Vanhoy, Lynn Vanhoy (Kelly) and Reggie Vanhoy (Connie); his stepchildren, Matilda McGhee (John) and Brian Reid; his stepdaughter-in-law Jennifer Enoch (Ken); his grandchildren, Kim Helms (Brad), Kary Vinent (Dan), Will Isenhour (Brittany), Heidi Lewis, Justin Vanhoy, Beth Hopkins (Chad), Ben Speights (Casey) and Whit Vanhoy (Amber); and his stepgrandchildren, Zane McGhee (Alexis), Julie McGhee, Anna McGhee, Charlie McGhee, James Reid, Hannah Reid and Benjamin Reid. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 step great-grandchild.
