She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alfred Morris and Eva Earnhardt Morris; her husband James Arthur Poplin; her children, Brenda Poplin Efird and Dennis Poplin; her siblings, James Morris, Norman "Lee" Morris, Earnest and Bonnie Parker; and her grandson Jason Poplin.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Poplin (Virginia) of Richfield, Karen Poplin Herlocker (Roger) of New London, Chris Poplin (Kieoke) of New London and Wanda Smith of Richfield; her sisters, Nellie Little, Ruby Barringer, Julia Williams and Shirley Williams; her grandchildren, Craig Poplin (Kelly), Carrie Poplin, Josh Efird (Tonya Yount), Brian Efird (Haley Hatley), Jennifer Herlocker Kluttz, Kevin Herlocker, Melissa Elberson (Matt), Brooke Shank (Tommy), Adam Poplin (Brittany), Luke Poplin (Addi) and Seth Poplin; her great grandchildren, Clay Poplin, Elaina Efird, Kash Runions, Miley Efird, Katie Davis, Lucas Efird, Erica Knox (Quasar), Kolby Kluttz (Madison), Ashley Poplin, Summer Poplin, Hanna Elberson, Leah Elberson, Hugh Shank, Glenn Shank, Teagan Poplin, Sofia Poplin, Kynadee Furr and Honey Poplin; and her great great grandchildren, Auden Knox, Bryce Knox, Lylah Poplin, Zada Knox and Baby Knox.
