He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Bell and Shyrl Wise Bell; and his half-siblings, Beverly Bell Runkle and Patrick Reed Bell. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Breckenridge Bell; and his sons, John M. (Cindy) of Texas, Christopher (Deanna) of Richfield and Scott (Dina) of Louisiana. He is also survived by his wife and sons, he is survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
