He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leonard Kearns and Evelyn Marie Gary Jones. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lynn Helms Kearns; his children, Jake Kearns of Richfield, N. C. and Elizabeth Kearns of Richfield, N. C.; his stepchildren, Dennis Ivey, Julie Knight, Eula Mae Cauthen, Billy Knight and Crystal Ivey; and his siblings, Eva Marie Rich, Tracy White, Tony L. Jones and Jeff Jones. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
