He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Hill and Lois Eller Hill. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hill of Richfield; his children, Michael Hill (Heather) of Albemarle and Lisa Hill (Tim Humanik) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Michaela, Meredith and Mallory Hill; and his sisters, Margaret Lyerly, Linda Cauble (Phil), Brenda Cauble (Mike) and Mary Trexler (James). He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
