He was predeceased by: his father Charles Taylor; his stepparents, H. A. Porter, Millard "Dobber" Neathery and Doris Taylor; and his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Porter and Bobby Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Suzette Porter; his children, Olivia Porter, Victoria Porter and Blakely Porter (Kala); his siblings, Carol Nasahoglu (Cem), Rene Basham (Joe), Kaye Dugan, Pat Porter (Elizabeth), Harold Porter, Jr. (Sharalou), Doug Taylor and Gary Taylor (Trish); his aunt Betty Holder; and his uncle Wayne Plunk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
