It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Rogers of Richfield, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Misenheimer and Helen Goodman Misenheimer; her husband James Carroll Rogers (Jimmy); and her siblings, Bernice M. Monroe of Tennessee and JT Misenheimer of Richfield.
She is survived by: her children, Warren James Rogers (Renee Rogers) of Oakboro, NC and Myra Rogers Long (Terrell Long) of Granite Falls, NC; her grandchildren, Leah Isley, Miriam Smith, Brad Rogers, Josh Rogers and Jessie Rogers; her nephew David Misenheimer (Hazel Misenheimer); her nieces, Iris Carmen (Stan Carmen) and Alda Misenheimer; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Ryan and Bart Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Bethel Lutheran Church, 21746 Rogers Road, Richfield, NC 28137 and Community Home Care and Hospice, 1024 Albemarle Road, Ste 904, Troy, NC 27371, Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Rogers family.
